  • What is a clinical research study? Video that introduces terminology and answers questions frequently asked by patients about clinical research studies. Approximately 10 minutes.

Current Research Trials:

Dr Jenna is involved with the CAPTN TRIAL Network: Approximately 20% of children and adolescents experience a functionally impairing emotional or behavioral disorder, and as many as 1 in 20 youth are seriously mentally ill. Left untreated, mental illness in childhood predicts mental illness in adolescence and adulthood.  CAPTN trial results are intended to improve care for mentally ill youth by giving physicians greater understanding of the treatments they use.

Forensic Psychiatry Research Society

The Aims of this organization include:

  1. To increase co-operation and collaboration between those with an interest in forensic psychiatry research.
  2. To provide a foundation on which to influence national priority setting for research into forensic psychiatry.
  3. To support those in the early stages of their careers in academic forensic psychiatry.
  4. To facilitate the translation of research findings in forensic psychiatry into practice.
