Providing care to children and families that can improve their mental health and development seems to me to be inseparable from being an active legal and political advocate. I travel annually to Capitol Hill to advocate for current legislation germane to the health and well-being of children and families, and provide forensic psychiatry consultation that is developmentally informed for civil, juvenile and criminal, and family law matters.
